1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the services of Housewife's Kitchen, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Housewife's Kitchen provides professional catering services for various events including:
- Wedding catering and receptions
- Birthday parties and celebrations
- Corporate events and meetings
- Home functions and gatherings
- Festival celebrations
- Custom catering solutions
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
To book our services, you must provide accurate and complete information about your event, including date, location, guest count, and specific requirements.
3.2 Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only after we send you a written confirmation via email or WhatsApp, along with a booking agreement and payment terms.
3.3 Advance Booking
We recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance for regular events and 2-3 months for large events like weddings. Last-minute bookings are subject to availability.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of 30-50% of the total estimated cost is required to confirm your booking. The exact percentage will be specified in your booking agreement.
4.2 Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid at least 3 days before the event date. We accept payment via bank transfer, UPI, or cash.
4.3 Additional Charges
Any additional services, menu changes, or increased guest count requested after booking confirmation may incur additional charges.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Cancellation by Client
- More than 30 days before event: 50% of deposit refunded
- 15-30 days before event: 25% of deposit refunded
- Less than 15 days before event: No refund
5.2 Cancellation by Us
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a full refund of all payments made and assist in finding alternative catering solutions.
5.3 Rescheduling
Event rescheduling is subject to availability. If you need to reschedule, please notify us at least 15 days in advance. One free rescheduling is allowed; subsequent changes may incur a fee.
6. Menu and Dietary Requirements
We strive to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies. Please inform us of any special requirements at the time of booking. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Menu changes must be finalized at least 7 days before the event. Last-minute changes may not be possible.
7. Venue Requirements
The client is responsible for ensuring the venue has:
- Adequate kitchen facilities or preparation space
- Electricity and water supply
- Proper access for our team and equipment
- Necessary permits and permissions
Additional charges may apply if special arrangements are needed.
8. Liability
8.1 Our Liability
We maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene. However, we are not liable for any illness or injury unless directly caused by our negligence.
8.2 Client Liability
The client is responsible for any damage to our equipment or injury to our staff caused by the venue conditions or guest behavior.
9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or other force majeure events.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Housewife's Kitchen and protected by copyright laws. You may not use our content without written permission.
11. Photography and Marketing
We may take photographs of our food and setup at your event for marketing purposes. If you prefer not to have your event photographed, please inform us in advance.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Cuttack, Odisha, India.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
